i love homemade bread
i admit that i viewed not being able to bring all my wheat grinding stuff and pans, etc. to make homemade bread as an experiment as to whether it truly was worth the time/effort/monetary savings that i put into it.
the experiment has been a success. we miss it. none of us feel as full after a meal filled with white flour products. some of us can't even stand the taste of it (fluffy glue anyone?) so we do without.
for me personally, i miss the almost daily rhythm of combining ingredients, watching them meld and form into something none of them could be on their own. i miss the smell of bread fresh from the oven, and the multiple requests from little boys to have the end before it even cools.
Lord, please sell our florida house soon so we can get back to a daily rhythm of life, including our daily bread.
